In spring 2011 the University of Toronto upgraded it’s institutional Learning Management System. Prior to the upgrade the University launched a tri-campus promotional campaign to let users know about the upgrade and give them a sneak peek at some of the new tools that would become available once the upgrade was completed. As part of that I promotional campaign I created a series of linked videos using YouTube’s annotation feature.
The goal of this project was to introduce faculty, staff and students to the upgrade and provide them with an option to learn more about the tools that interested them.
Technical Work: I created the images using Illustrator and Photoshop, wrote the script, animated the video using After Effects and I recorded the voice over using Audacity. My colleague Adam Craig created the soundtrack. Then I used Premiere to put all the parts together.
